V4 Power Supply Resistors
#1
Thanks in advance for any info, I am repairing a basket case V4 Distortion model and have questions about the power supply decoupling resistor values.

R219 3.9K 20watt
R218 2.2K 10watt

My values differ, 2.2K 20watt and 1.5K 10watt respectively.

I have seen many design changes in Ampegs over the years that don't make it onto the print, but lowering the first decoupling resistor by half seems dubious.

Any how, if anyone could offer assistance it would be appreciated,

Regards,

Vin

Only thing I can see those value changes doing is increasing voltage to the preamp stages, and maybe increasing the ripple to said stages, but probably not all that significantly.

Did they crack? Do they read as open circuits?
