yes i plan on buying the book...
my friend has 2x12" fliptop. i havnt seen it yet but apparently it belonged to one of the guys in Cinderella.
he has described it to me as black tolex no gold stripe, wedding cake type cab. i think i saw one called B12x or something. i think he said the inputs are guitar/accordian.
do the bass amp inputs say bass/accordian?

where, online, can i find a list of models and otherwise fun reading about this era of ampeg?

there is an article that covers a bit about the B-15. An original interview with Jess Oliver the designer.

I have always intended to expand Vintageampeg.com to include Amp pages for each model, but I am pretty busy and admit that the time isn't there at the moment.
The ampeg Book is by far the most complete resource.

If your first question was asking if all the portaflex amps were bass amps, the answer is no. typically the B12s were a bit more guitar/accordion focused. while the B15 and B18 were bass focused.
