I have a 1973 G-60 solid state head which I use for bass. I only need channel one, channel two has the effects section with tremolo and reverb. Even with all the controls down on channel two, I still hear a thump/tick at the slow trem rate very low thru the amp, even when in channel one, even with channel one volume off too. Can I just disconnect the channel two preamp board, as well as the effects board, by removing a certain wire(s)? Any help appreciated! Steve
