Late 70's distortion model v4 optoisolators
#1
Does anyone have any info on the P101/P102 optoisolators used in channel one of a late 70's distortion model v4? No description at all in the schematic. Since I never use this channel and it seems to be introducing noise downline, can I substitute discreet components to make the circuit look like the distortion control is set to zero?
Question 2: Does Hangman still offer the tone modules to replace p/n PEC250762-1 module? Thanks

Q1: I don't have any info. If you pull the board and look at the actual part numbers that might help. I can't remember what the part numbers are.
We may be able to swap them for a VTL5C3 or come up with some kind of FET replacement.

Q2: yes I still offer it. Just email me. I tend to reply fairly quickly, but if I don't reply just send another email. I promise that I always want to respond, I just get bogged down with other stuff.

Follow up to my original question, for anyone interested I've confirmed the optoisolator is a Vactrol VTL5C2.
