Reverberocket II specific part question...
#1
Hi, I recently purchased a Reverberocket II (1966) in close to mint condition. The only issue with it is related to the intensity of the tremolo. I was told that the tech who looked into it that the transformer modulator TM-1 had to be change.

I just can't find this part anywhere on the web.

Does anyone know where could I find it or what can I replace this one with?

Thanks

It may only need a new bulb. Is the tm-1 encased in epoxy? Or can you break it open? The tm-2 can be opened, this the reason I ask.

But if the trem works, just has low intensity, I'm not sure that the opto-oscillator would be the first thing that I would suspect? Does the intensity change if you put another (preferably stronger) tube in?

Super pretty amp, BTW. Smile

I suppose that’s a very valid question.. especially since the tech called the TM-1 a “transformer modulator”

What do you mean when you say the term isn’t working?

Oh shoot, I totally misread the first post. Jjmt is totally right. Find another tech to actually troubleshoot the term circuit or we could try to help you troubleshoot too. But it would really help if you had an o-scope or multi meter

Awesome guys, thanks for the quick reply. I am currently on the road for work for another week. When I come back home, I will be able to do more test to describe the intensity problem and try to troubleshoot the amp.
I'll keep you posted once my test are done.
