if you are not familiar with repairing solid state amplifiers, it might be best to let someone else take it on.
its just as likely that you will have to replace resistors and capacitors as it is transistors. hard to say which ones without testing.

Yes agreed. I have a bit of wiring experience, but not to your level I'm sure. I do have a multimeter and I have been checking some of the resistors and the caps. There are 47 on the main board and most of them do give a reading, yet I think I may need a different meter. As mine is a Radio Shack mini digital and it doesn't seem to give accurate readings.
