I added the adjustable bias and brought the bias up to 25ma - sounds good.
I had mentioned that when adjusting the hum balance pot, I'd get a lot of loud noise throughout the pot's sweep but that the noise would stop when the pot is set at either end of the pot's sweep - fully CW or fully CCW.
My last goal with this v4 is to try and bring the hum down to as low as possible - I understand a little may be inevitable, but the lower the better.
I had read of people replacing the hum balance with resistors here
Might the HB pot be bad on my V4? Any other places to examine/address that may contribute to hum?
The hum isn't loud where it effects the playability of the amp.
