Ampeg GS-12R Rocket II (1968 or 69?)

This is what I found in the 2016 Vintage Guitar Price Guide. However, I picked up my Rocket II today, and it indeed has one channel. I will drop a note to "The Guide", to have them edit it for 2017.

One question, is there a unique tool or bit required to remove the back panels on a Rocket II? The fasteners on mine do not look like anything I've ever seen. It looks something like a bow tie shape.
