Howdy,
Back in the 80's I played on an ss140c blueline and just loved the sound. Couldn't afford the amp though. What I was playing through was a Peavey Backstage plus (line out) into a powered Ampeg Bass cabinet (supposedly once belonging to Jack Bruce). Unbelievably crunchy and loud and wonderful.
The SS140c also had a line out jack for this purpose. Those things are almost impossible to find now but I have seen some SS70c's around.
The 70c however does not have a line out jack. Does anybody know if it is possible to line out (post gain and eq) from a 70c, into a powered ampeg cabinet?
I know squirrely question but unless I can find a 140c Blue that somebody isn't selling for a bazillion dollars because it's "vintage" my next option is the 70c.
Thanks so much,
Christian
