3 prong plug conversion

It appears I've been way overthinking this!

  1. Remove all wiring from the ground switch along with the death cap
  2. Attach hot lead (black) from new AC cord to top tab of On/Off switch
  3. Bottom tab of this switch goes to the fuse (existing)
  4. Other end of fuse goes to transformer primary (existing)
  5. Solder and heat shrink common lead (white) to other end of transformer primary
  6. Attach green lead (ground) from new AC cord to solid chassis ground
  7. Done
I would think this would be a common question but couldn't find the answer here, so perhaps this will help others looking to do the same thing.
