i think it's a '66. has original speaker. someone has been in there, the transformer has been replaced and the intensity pot doesnt lock like it should but otherwise pretty nice Reverberocket...

hopefully bringing it home friday.
i went back and had another look. it has had a cap job. the speaker is cmi and dates around august 1966. i found it on my lunch break so i didnt have much time to look at it.

i cant explain my love for these things.
i've already got my eye on two more...

i think my dream ampeg is probably a super echo twin. my friend's dad had one when we were kids.

got it open. looks like a few caps have been replaced; also the speed and intensity pots. the intensity pot doesnt click at full on, so i'll be replacing that one.

the amp makes some crackling noises when it's first turned on until it warms up.
it doesnt sound real great but cant really make that call until i get a new speaker in there.
my photos are too big.
