Anyone out there have an Burns made Ampeg guitar?

So I understand that Ampeg had a deal with Burns in the 1960s to bring their guitars to the states under the Ampeg name. so while technically they are not built by Ampeg, they carry the name. anyone have one? I would love to know how they sound etc...

I guess no one has that guitar. No responses in the past 4-1/2 years. I'll check back in two or three years to see if there are any bites. Smile

I have a Martin EB-18 bass that I am holding for a friend for a while. It less than usual to see one.

These appear on ebay with some regularity (there is one now). They look really cool. But I've gotten to the point where I just kind of laugh what people are willing to pay for things. That, and it is really hard for me to see how that trem is going to stay in tune....
