First time poster. Hi all.
I have a 1964-65 Jet 12. Any early one with the "extra" tube (I know they made a design change in the mid-60s). Fantastic condition. My "problem" with it is that it is really clean. Headroom all the way up to 10. I would love to have this thing start to break up around 3.
It is primarily original tubes. If I swap out different tubes or any other suggestions, is there any way I can get more of a gritty sound? Or is it just a wonderful jazz amp?
