B-15-N Hum
#1
I am the 2nd owner of a 1965 B-15-N: all original (incl. tubes and speaker) except for 3 electrolytic capacitors that the original owner had changed before he sold me the amp 15 years ago.  This amp sounds great and works perfectly except for one thing.  Very occasionally a bit of hum comes up; I can almost always get it to stop by rapping (not too hard) on the right hand side of the amp chassis with my knuckles.

My first attempt to address this problem was to clean the crap out of the board: it had a pretty fair amount of flux, but no more.  Then--I'm an engineer--I was recording a bass player with a ton of recording experience.  He said, "When that happened, we'd pick the amp up a couple of inches, then drop it".  But I'd rather find the source of the problem and fix it.  Any ideas?  And sorry if this topic has already been asked and answered--I did a search, but got no results.  Thanks in advance.
