'72 V4 Fuse blew

Hi, my 72 V4 fuse blew.

Ive been using it a lot with no issues. I turned it on, and it was playing at a lower volume for 30 seconds and then shut off/lights went out. I checked the fuse and it blew.

When I put a new fuse in, it all seemed to work fine but then the tubes started glowing super bright almost white hot and I shut it off before anything else happened. I assume the new fuse was about to blow as well.

Sound familiar to anyone?

have you had the amp serviced recently? is it recapped?

its possible that the tubes have simply failed. that happens from time to time. but it is also possible that there are other issues.

fuses usually blow for a good reason. probably a good idea to have someone look at it. if you have a meter we can go through some possible problems.
